IELTSのスピーキング試験は、個室で試験官と1対1の面接形式で行われます。パート1から3に分かれており、約14分ほどで終わる短いテストです。
実際の試験では、緊張や、試験官の反応が気になり、自分の実力が出せない、頭が真っ白になってしまうなど、様々な理由で失敗してしまうことが考えられます。

パートごとの例題
パート1
パート1は、日常的な質問が多く、自己紹介となるパートです。
自発的に会話を広げることは、ハイスコアには重要ですが、パート1では解答が長くなりすぎないよう気を付けましょう。1つの質問に対して、3文から6文ぐらいでの解答が適切です。

パート2は、Que card（トピックカード）が渡され、記載されている課題について、スピーチを行うパートです。
トピックカードを渡されてから、1分間でスピーチの内容を考え、その後、2分間のスピーチを行います。
例題を参照し、実際に時間を計測して練習してみましょう。1分間の間にメモを取っても構いません。
